Landing at SFO is always a joy. Not just because it's the best airport in North America (no fact check needed), it's also the first touch of home after a trip.

I drive through 101 twice a week from San Francisco to Mountain View. For those who know, it's as mundane as freeways come. Still, it feels joyful to ride it from SFO home after a trip away.

The biotechs in South San Francisco, the views of the fog atop the hills, the AI billboards. I can feel them all screaming, "welcome home."

No matter how tired I am from a trip, I feel joy when I am back in San Francisco.
